Notice Of In-Person Public Meeting

South Hill, Virginia, December 10, 2025: The Lake Country Development Corporation will meet on Monday, December 15, 2025, beginning at 10:00 am. This meeting will be held in-person in the Conference Room at the Southside Planning District Commission, located at 200 S. Mecklenburg Avenue, South Hill, Virginia. This meeting is open to the public. The meeting is to vote on the dissolution of Lake Country Development Corporation. A time for public comments will be included in the meeting and written public comments may be sent prior to 8:00 a.m. on December 15, 2025, to scooper@southsidepdc.org.

About the Lake Country Development Corporation: Lake Country Development Corp. (LCDC) was formed in 1981 as a private, non-profit 501 (c) (3) corporation responsible for the administration of revolving loan funds to promote job creation in the Southside Planning District Region. Loan funds are provided to locating and expanding businesses and industries in the area.
