Notice is hereby given that a public hearing will be held on Thursday, July 24, 2025, beginning at 12:00 p.m. by the Southside Planning District Commission (SPDC) in the conference room of the SPDC office building, located at 200 S. Mecklenburg Avenue, South Hill, Virginia.

The purpose of the public hearing is to receive comments on the 2025-2030 Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy (CEDS) update. The CEDS serves as the SPDC’s regional strategic plan in accordance with § 15.2-4209 of the Code of Virginia.

Interested parties may appear at the above time and place to express their views on the matter. The 2025-2030 CEDS may be viewed online - click here.
