Southside Planning District Commission

Welcome Welcome to the Southside Planning District (SPDC) Commission Webpage. The Southside Planning District is one of Virginia's 21 Planning Districts, and its purpose is to assist member localities by providing planning services including grant preparation and administration, providing technical assistance such as GIS/GPS mapping and dissemination of Census data, and by fostering intergovernmental cooperation between local, state, and federal government.
