REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS FOR

CONTRACT STAFF SERVICES

The Southside Planning District Commission is seeking proposals from qualified firms/individuals to provide certain contractual staff services related to the implementation of the GO Virginia initiative for Region 3 also known as Southern Virginia GO Region.  The Southside PDC has been designated by the Region 3 Council (COUNCIL) as its Support Organization and Fiscal Agent with the expectation and responsibility of entering into contracts, subcontracts, and other agreements needed to carry out the responsibilities of the PDC in its capacity as the Support Organization and Fiscal Agent for the COUNCIL.  Services include but are not limited to technical services related to the development, evaluation and periodic updating of Region 3’s Growth and Diversification Plan, alignment with regional economic development entities, general program oversight, preparation and staffing for the Region 3 Council and Committee meetings, regional stakeholder outreach, budget oversight, project review and other technical services as needed. The Southside PDC reserves the right to award more than one contract for services requested in this RFP.   The Southside PDC is located in South Hill, Virginia.  Proposals are due Friday, July 14, 2017 at 2:00 p.m.
